The Royal Botanic Garden works closely with the Government of Jordan, which allocated the land for the Garden. The Agence française de développement (AFD) provides funding to cover much of the RBG's research.
The Fonds français pour l'environnement mondial (FFEM) is funding scientific research projects.
Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) has provided funds for the RBG Herbarium, landscaping and infrastructure.
The Global Environment Facility (GEF) is donating funds for water harvesting and other on-site work.
The Stanley Smith Horticultural Trust has given funds for outreach programmes and materials.
The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) has granted funding to expand the RBG's Income Generating Programme.
The European Commission's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) is providing funds for the RBG's BOT-ERA Project.

The Employment - Technical & Vocational Education & Training Fund (E-TVET Fund) has granted some funding for the training of eco guides for the Garden.
